Neurodiversity for Leaders

Managing Neurodivergent employees

Neurodiversity for Leaders is a three-module program designed to equip those who manage neurodivergent (ND) employees with the knowledge and skills to help all employees thrive.

Each module is a stand-alone half day workshop, giving businesses the flexibility to complete one, two or three workshops.

Why invest in Neurodiversity for Leaders training?

ND employees are not “difficult to manage” per se, but effectively managing someone who is wired differently often requires a different approach to managing neurotypical employees.

If you do not understand neurodiversity and the impact it can have on behaviour and how employee’s interpret the workplace, managing neurodivergent employees can be tricky. It can take a lot of a manager’s time and resources and can negatively impact team performance. It does not need to be this way.

With a deeper understanding of neurodiversity, the causes of certain behaviours, and some small changes in communication, managing ND employees can be made much easier. When managed effectively, the unique perspectives and skills offered by ND employees can be invaluable to a business.

Learning how to effectively support neurodivergent employees will not only increase the performance of the ND employee, but, will also improve team effectiveness and reduce pressure on management.

Q&A

“Becca has been a fantastic influence on our strategy to providing the right levels of support to our neurodivergent colleagues at Opencast.

I've attended several of Becca’s workshops and have come away learning something new every single time, with my mind more open than ever before. Becca ran a workshop for my team of People Experience Partners, giving us specialist advice on how to support nuerodivergent employees. A particular stand out takeaway was how to provide feedback using a clear model. The team have found the training immeasurably useful.

Thank you Becca for all the support you have given us, I couldn’t recommend you highly enough!”
